Objective:

To Educate and Train students to SAFELY enjoy the lifetime sport of KAYAKING.

To reduce the number of lives lost in KAYAKING accidents.

Problem:  

There have been more KAYAKING accidents and drownings in the past  2 years than in the past 20 years!

Fatal and near-fatal accidents have been occurring at alarmingly increasing rates in the sport of KAYAKING in recent years commensurate with its greatly increased popularity and ready availability of ultra-low  priced, generally unsafe boats. This is exacerbated by the lack of competent, professional instruction and the commonly held misconception that no experience or instruction is necessary.

Solution

To train and certify competent Instructors to train students to safely enjoy the sport of KAYAKING.

Nick DeNezzo has been a licensed Phys. Ed Teacher for almost 40 years and has been kayaking for almost 30 years.  He is available for Kayak Instructor Workshops to train and certify teachers in your department to teach "Fundamentals of Kayaking". This course, as well as the Instructor course, can be taught in a swimming pool using whitewater* kayaks.

What is Included:
